Thats a great idea, I found a lesson plan for gardening for grades 1-3. It shows students how to identify the plant parts, determine wha they need to grow, and recognize what plants do for our earth. (I think adding this to our concept map would be a good idea). This is a 12 day lesson plan and deals with the students growing plants and watching them grow.
